Before setting up in 1988 our background was in Aircraft Engineering, where the skills acquired have been transferred into what we do today, but with good reason. From a history of working to close tolerances of thousandth’s of an inch, we are perfectionists and very particular with the level of accuracy within all our building projects and use only the best tools money can buy.

A testimony to our strict building tolerances and high level of craftsmanship transpired when the local council’s structural engineer asked us to build his new house!

One major factor for choosing Melrose Construction for any building project lies within our costing procedure; when we quote a project we use current material prices and accurate measurements, this means the customer gets the best possible quotation and will not pay over the odds for materials typically quoted at an inflated “book price” and furthermore, will only pay for the materials they need, no over-estimated un-used materials that again, would normally be billed to the customer.
